Yosemite

Took us a couple of hours to get to the entrance to Yosemite from Tulare and as expected there was a line of cars waiting to get in. You had to make a reservation to get in to the park. I had made ours a week or so earlier so we were prepared. Can't say the same for the guy from TX driving Mercedes SUV. No reservation, no entry.

Our first stop was Glacier Point where you get a great view of the waterfalls and huge granite mountainside. We then made our way down into the village below. Most of the village was closed due Covid so we didn't linger long. Exited the park via the Merced river valley. Very pretty drive. My map reading skills alluded me when I opted to go cross country thinking it a shorter route back to the RV park. Road construction got it the way and to be honest I just goofed. Probably cost us and extra hour or so.

The village below.

Taking it in with my best friend!!❤

Out the road.

Remnants of the Yosemite fire.
