Zion National and Bryce Canyon

Today is Thursday, June 3. We have been in St. George, UT now for close to a week. The weekend was enjoyed with family while on Tuesday morning we set out for Zion National and Bryce Canyon. It was a day of awe struck beauty in every direction. The landscapes are indescribable. I personally took over 100 photos and I'm sure Charlotte, Casey and Phil did as well. It just seemed impossible to pull of the road and not take photos in every direction.  For the most part I'm going to let the photos speak for themselves. Hope you enjoy!

We leave St. George tomorrow morning headed to Tulare, CA. From there we hope to see the Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon and Yosemite.

Red Rock in route to Zion

Tunnels carved from the stone in Red Rock

Natures canvas! Zion

Tunnel thru the mountain in Zion. It was pitch black
and for some reason brought back memories of my
latest colonoscopy. 🤣

Saying goodbye to Zion.

Welcome to Bryce!

Camera in hand.

Beautiful aspens.

Remnants of past forest fire.

Looking down into the canyon where pathways are
available for hikers. We weren't one of them.

Hoodoos. Ancient Indians believe these were
individuals who had performed some wrong
doing and turned to stone by the coyote.

Pesky "Happy Campers"

My "best half" enjoying the surroundings.

Found a loop with my name on it.

Birdseye view. This guy was a photo hound.

Spring flower in blossom.

Natural bridge.

Up there on that peak stand Phil and Casey. They
walked a mile round trip to get a spectacular view.
I'm just lazy!!
