Arizona, The Grand Canyon State

Interesting rock formations viewed from a rest area!

More of same. Interesting sign at the rest area:

We are now in Casa Grande, AZ in an RV park named Casita Verde not to be confused with Caseda Verde. The reason I bring this up is it presented one of those "you just had to be there" moments. We made our reservation on line as we travelled this morning. We seemed to be having a problem finding an RV resort in or around Casa Grande that was open. You see, this is summer time and all the snow birds in AZ have flocked back home. So the need for an RV park to remain open is minimal. When we found Casita Verde we were quite elated. Put the address in the GPS and looked forward to our arrival. GPS took us to the gated main entrance of Caseda Verde 55+ community. Making a very long story short, a nice lady arrived entering the gate and asked if we were having an issue. I explained our dilemma and she proceeded to tell me we were in the wrong place. Go down a block, turn right, go to the end of the street and voila you will have arrived. And, so we did!!! The office to the park was closed and we had no site information from our on line check in so we just picked a spot and parked. So far no one has approached us to move. On to Williams, AZ tomorrow. Hoping for a better arrival experience.
